Here at P&J Dust Extraction we specialise in the design, manufacture, supply and installation of dust and fume extraction systems. Following installation we provide LEV commissioning, machine maintenance and LEV statutory testing for all types of extraction systems.

One of the services we offer our customers includes LEV Testing. In line with safety guidelines, thorough examination and testingshould be conducted every 14 months.

Using the latest precision equipment our highly qualified LEV engineers produce a comprehensive report on LEV performance that meets stringent UKAS criteria. Following data analysis by a senior engineer a detailed report is issued.

Filter condition check
Rotational motor speed measurement  
Velocity pressure and static pressure of all test points recording
Record the pressure drop across the filters
Ambient dust level
Percentage of contaminant in the returned air measurement
Decibel readings 2 metres from each machine
Dust level reading in the breathing zone of operators
Smoke test for fume extraction
Face velocity test for spray booths
