Axair Fans were approached by Arcadia, a huge name in the special effects industry for help with a project. The sculpture-based organisation in Bristol is famous for their extravagant live shows such as the spider.

Arcadia came to Axair to provide a solution for an unusual project to be exhibited at the Boomtown Fair. The project demanded a fan with a low duty point with a motor out of the air path to handle special effect smoke piped into branches of aluminium trees.

The fan duty was difficult to determine due to the complexity of the tree branches, however with some careful calculation and best guess work the outcome was perfect.
