Photomultiplier Tubes and Modules

Hamamatsu supplies well over 50% of all of the Photomultiplier Tubes (PMTs) used worldwide today. These are used in a wide range of medical diagnostics, analytical instruments, nuclear radiation monitoring, biological sciences and industrial inspection equipment. Hamamatsu has also expanded their range of low light detectors to incorporate power supplies, electronic circuits and even optics and computer interfaces. These Photomultiplier Tube Modules are designed to be “plug and play” and allow both researchers and equipment manufacturers to save time and money developing their own hardware around the component PMT.
